Anyone had any experience reducing the trigger pull length on the PF-9, or a fluff and buff for it? As is, really hard for me to shoot with that long trigger pull.

Try a pencil eraser as a trigger stop.

Snap caps and dry firing a lot helped mine. Pull slide back about 1/4-1/2" to recock.

Ditto both Mellow Yellow and FOrest ranger. Both actions work well with my P-11. minus the recocking part though
