I have a staccato P, is it worth $1000 more than the prodigy? I think so. It’s so smooth and zero malfunction operation.
I love Springfields customer service warranty.

The Springfield Prodigy is the poor man's Staccato.
Honest Outlaw highlights the poorly performing, Springfield magazines and suggestions that owners buy other brands. He cites a 2011 magazine that costs $120(?).
The cost of 5 magazines is half the cost between the Prodigy and the Staccato.
I have seen and handled the Prodigy; seen, handled, and shot the Staccato. The Springfield is not in the same class, IMHO.
I would buy the Staccato or another quality 2011 and pass on the Springfield.
