I think I saw your question on another forum about this - the HK USPc is what I said too- 1 rd short w/ a rd in the chamber.

Get a compact 1911 and buy a 10 round mag. Only other option. Then it won't be "compact" :)

Anyone know of a semi-auto handgun that has the following characteristics?

-DA/SA
-Compact
-.45 Cal.
-10 round magazine
You kind of put yourself in a hole with the compact + 10 rd. magazine. If you wanted to go 1911ish the Para Ordance p12 but of course that is SA. If you are willing to drop a little in capacity EAA witness compact.

The SIG P220 carry should meet the requirements. Judging by how it is called a carry I'm going to assume it's compact. If it can use standard P220 mags, then it has 10x .45 ACP. It also has the required DA/SA action.
