What's your next planned gun purchase?

What do you have your heart set on?

Had been kicking around for a little while between an lcp, lcp 2 or a max. Finally settled on the max.

Definitely planned? Well my feminine side is still debating priorities. As some folks are aware, not all of us have the cash flow we once did. So new gun or purchases of the same expense must be planned out in advance.
As it is, for me I have 2 things on the shopping list that must be sorted out to greatest ”want”.

1st up…..man I’ve wanted to jump on the suppression boat for awhile now and it would be awesome to outfit my 22wmr with one.
I think “maybe it might be wise to wait till there’s a republican in the big boy chair that’s willing to reel in the FBI and the ATF a bit and put em both on a leash. But then again, I can do it now, I might not be able to once the Biden Administration is done with America.

2nd: I’m practical. I don’t buy a firearm because it looks cool. I do not suffer from GHI Syndrome (Godda Have It). One firearm for each duty, 1 for big game, 1 for small game, one for foul, 2 for self defense (home and carry) .
But man I saw the S&W M&P 9mm FPC folder and I said “man that’s an excellent platform for xtra firepower on longer trips out of town etc”.
I don’t “Godda Have It” but I FRICK’N WANT IT! (Don’t you just love justifiable semantics) 🤪

I kinda want that S&W carbine too.

I also am interested in the Ruger Security 380 and the Sig 365 in 9mm.

None, I have enough firearms. I getting close to the grave deadend road and have no-one to pass them to so I will sell all and keep my favorite rifle and pistol.
The problem is; I have 5 favorite rifles and 12 favorite pistols:oops:

For now, I have all the handguns I want. I have put my name in the hat at several places for the S&W FPC.

I have kinda been thinking of getting that too, but have read so many mixed reviews. Please let us know how it goes when you go shoot it.

I want to buy one of those inexpensive inertia driven semi auto shotguns, and see if they do indeed work like the reviews say. Heck, they’re so inexpensive, it doesn’t matter if they run well or not. I can fluff and buff one just like my Kel Tec’s needed.
While I did say I was happy with my crop of handguns, I'd certainly entertain a steel RB J-frame S&W .38/.357. Not interested in anything other than steel. A used one would be great.
You know I pulled the trigger on a Bersa firestorm 380 I just had to have it for the looks alone . In California you can’t purchase a walther Ppk so this is the next best thing always wanted a 007 gun do I got it . Did all the paperwork yesterday pictures in 10 days ha ha ha

Got to the range tonight with the LCP MAX and I'm extremely happy with it, put 50 rounds through it with no jams, slide locked back after emptying every clip, the recoil is mild for such a small light gun and it was dead nuts accurate at 7 yards.

Very cool.

I have been tempted to get one after I found the G42 not reliable.

But, all these small 380s can be finicky, it seems. I've been watching youtube reviews of all of them, and they all seem to jam for some of the reviewers. And, lots of people are having issues with them on various forums. I am very happy to hear that yours is working well. Updatyed up when you hit 300 rounds.

I put almost 300 rounds thru that G42 on 2 separate trips.

380 ammo is so expensive, and I finally decided just to cut my losses. I have considered the 3880 Max, but after watching a few videos today, I think I am just going to give up on these small 380s. At least my original gen 1 LCP works 100%. But damn if it sucks to shoot.

After going down that long and winding road, just forget .380's and 1911 yourself.

Hahaha. Well, it is kind of hard to pocket carry a 1911.

That is why I was looking for this small gun. To fill a hole I have in my carry guns. Otherwise, I wouldn't care

I used to heavily be into 1911s. I think I have owned 12 of them in total. Several were high end models too.

I may get back into them 1 day. But right now with my neck and shoulder problems, I prefer polymer handguns.

What about shield plus 9mm?
I think it's small enough for pocket carry.

I have 3 of them - It can work, but is not practical. It makes too big of a bulge. Too heavy, and larger than the 365.

I have done it a few times. But, it's not practical.
