He's wrong about the trigger. It is not a DA trigger. It is a DAO trigger.

It's safe to say that guns are overall better made today than ever before. Brands that at one time would have brought forth derisive comments like Kahr, Taurus, and others are now made to higher standards and reliability.
I'm not saying I'd carry one, but for some they are a viable option at a certain price point. Good for them.

I have owned eleven Kahrs and still own one or two (I think just one but I'm not certain). The one left I know about is a 1998 K40 Elite '98 in stainless with wood grip panels. Beautiful piece with a fine trigger. It's a keeper for me. The one I'm not sure I still have is an early model PM9.

I have reason to "believe" you on that.I have had a Kahr before. I would take a 1000 of those before I ever bought a Taurus

I've got a MK 40, really nice gun, all stainless, very well made, 100% reliable. A little on the heavy side for pocket carry and only holds 5+1, 6+1 with extended magazine that not only looks like hell but defeats the purpose. I still have it and would never get rid of it.

I never have and never will buy a Taurus. Just like I never have and never will vote for a Democrat.I have had a Kahr before. I would take a 1000 of those before I ever bought a Taurus

I think their sales have been on bottom for several years. They may have been working on this for a while?- at least that are saying something....to me that says "its coming".
I think Kahr makes a fine gun...they are just a few years behind the curve.
