I know PCC's are very popular and I think it will do very well. I personally have never really got into them. If i am going to shoulder fire something I prefer it be 62grains and do 2900fps. The ability to fold it is interesting.
I think PCCs make great home defensive guns. .223/5.56 are too damn loud indoors

That is an excellent point. The question I ask myself is the gain of velocity with a longer barrel of a PCC worth the added length in a close quarter situation. vs. just using a 9mm pistol.. I can see how they would be easier to fire accurately.
The more I see of this carbine the more I like it. I was concerned initially about the cheek weld, but seeing it in action it may not be a factor.

I'm still not sold on the magazines being stashed on the buttstock, but that is my hangup that may also prove false with training with a proper manual of arms.

Jerry Miculek S&W 9mm Carbine

It seems the trigger pull is heavy at 6-7 lbs, but could probably be lessened with some work.

Actually,it seems to depend on the specimen. One review I watched had a sub 5lb trigger.

You are correct. One reviewer stated it was 4.5. A plus for this carbine is the inclusion of three magazines, 2 23 rounders and one 17 rounder.

Now I like to see one in person. The MSRP isn't bad either.

Accuracy.

I cannot do this at 25 yards with a handgun, can you?
(I did this with my FDE CX4 9mm Storm carbine)

For what it does, faults and all, it's less than the cost of many 9mm handguns.

I'll admit that seeing different reviewers, that I believe know guns and tend to post honest reviews, have such overall positive thoughts about this carbine is causing me to take a closer look.

For a defensive house gun, it has positive qualities. I have AKs but have often thought about over-penetration inside and even outside the homestead. With an excellent optic setup, with the potential to add a laser, it might be just the ticket for me at less than I'd pay for a Saint Victor and Henry.

Having these two already is all that is stopping me from buying this new S&W carbine...

No I can not. That is very nice.
Reminds me of the Kel-tech sub 2k folder.
It looks like S&W has it beat!

The Keltech cannot fold with an optic, and the trigger components are made of polymer, and wear out over and over... This is way better than the Keltec.

Yes, yes I can!
But only if nobody’s watching. 🤪

You’ll get no argument from me.
Well if you want me too I can, but my defense of Keltec would be weak, embarrassing and amateurish at best.

I took a lil time to mull this over since its a very valid thought. Then this afternoon I Police cruiser pulled up next to me with the shogun in the rack. Its a situational use tool for em. They don’t always pull it out when a drawn weapon is required.
In close quarters I would not want to use a carbine if I did not have to.
But if Tyrone Deshaun Jefferson Grover Washington wants to start a fuss in the Walmart parking lot……..
What I really want to know is when will The FPC be available? (Seems like a great Truck gun)
