An Official Journal Of The NRA | First Look: Smith & Wesson: M&P FPC Pistol Caliber Carbine
Chambered in 9mm, the S&W M&P FPC carbine uses M&P magazines and folds horizontally for easy storage.
Actually,it seems to depend on the specimen. One review I watched had a sub 5lb trigger. The more I see of this carbine the more I like it. I was concerned initially about the cheek weld, but seeing it in action it may not be a factor.
I'm still not sold on the magazines being stashed on the buttstock, but that is my hangup that may also prove false with training with a proper manual of arms.
Jerry Miculek S&W 9mm Carbine
It seems the trigger pull is heavy at 6-7 lbs, but could probably be lessened with some work.
You are correct. One reviewer stated it was 4.5. A plus for this carbine is the inclusion of three magazines, 2 23 rounders and one 17 rounder.Actually,it seems to depend on the specimen. One review I watched had a sub 5lb trigger.
Accuracy. That is an excellent point. The question I ask myself is the gain of velocity with a longer barrel of a PCC worth the added length in a close quarter situation. vs. just using a 9mm pistol.. I can see how they would be easier to fire accurately.
No I can not. That is very nice.Accuracy.
I cannot do this at 25 yards with a handgun, can you?
(I did this with my FDE CX4 9mm Storm carbine)![]()
The Keltech cannot fold with an optic, and the trigger components are made of polymer, and wear out over and over... This is way better than the Keltec.Reminds me of the Kel-tech sub 2k folder.
It looks like S&W has it beat!
Yes, yes I can!Accuracy.

You’ll get no argument from me.The Keltech cannot fold with an optic, and the trigger components are made of polymer, and wear out over and over... This is way better than the Keltec.
I took a lil time to mull this over since its a very valid thought. Then this afternoon I Police cruiser pulled up next to me with the shogun in the rack. Its a situational use tool for em. They don’t always pull it out when a drawn weapon is required. The question I ask myself is the gain of velocity with a longer barrel of a PCC worth the added length in a close quarter situation. vs. just using a 9mm pistol.. I can see how they would be easier to fire accurately.
