Highly underrated, high quality firearms.

Can't say anything bad about my CPX-3.
Went from gun shop to range within an hour and fired 100 rds. without the first problem. Cleaning was very easy. Light weight and fits my hand perfectly. Nothing I don't like so far about this gun. Would I recommend the DVG to a friend? Absolutely
Nice to hear good things about them, but they are not known for quality. I do not think I would ever take the chance on one. Hope it keeps working.

Where do you find the report of their poor quality? I'm not seeing it.
I thought long and hard before deciding to make this post; but what the hell…

A friend and mentor who I’d trust with more than my life (yes; seriously) told us a few years ago, and showed pictures; of a friend’s new SCCY that they’d taken out to shoot for the first time that morning.

It’s been a while, but basically they shot a few rounds, then the gun blew up shooting factory ammo. In the pictures of the split/blown up slide and barrel, the grain structure of both revealed by the splits looked so coarse that I’d have said that they were cast; but no one would make a cast barrel that I’ve ever heard of…

Anyway; I have no interest in one.

Really? Go on any gun forum and ask people what they think of the brand. It's a step below Taurus, I believe.

Thanks for your report. As an actual owner I have found my DVG to work flawlessly right out of the box through several hundred rounds thus far. (Georgia Arms bulk 115gr). It fits my hand and is light weight. I notice smoothness and accuracy improving the more I fire it, so break-in seems to be a factor (not sure who most needs the break-in, me or the gun). Lifetime warranty that stays with the gun is further reassuring. I like it well enough that I'm going to buy another one.

Happy to hear it is working for you.
I decided to take a chance on the DVG-1. I like inexpensive guns that work. We'll see if it works. Wish me luck. Lol

That would certainly turn me off on a firearm. I don't own a SCCY, but I fired one and found it shot well with no malfunctions. I also know that two "Inexpensive" guns, the Taurus G3 and the S&W SD9VE get beat up because of the price ($300.00) or so. Big difference between "Inexpensive" and "Cheap".
