I had a buddy that had a stainless TRP . The checkering hurt his hand.He sent it back to springfield and, they dulled it somehow. If yours is still giving you problems may wanna check on it.Shipwreck said:Yes, the USP checkering gets harsh after a few rounds. But, U get used to it. Also had a TRP months back that was like a cheese grater - after 1 or 2 trips to the range, your hand toughens up and U don't feel it anymore.
I don't have the TRP anymore. But when I did have it, I actually liked the checkering. It was very rough in the beginning, but between trip to the range #1 and #2, I had done a lot of dry firing and handled the gun quite a bit. By trip #2, it didn't bother me, and I liked the checkering.riot earp said:I had a buddy that had a stainless TRP . Oh yeah. Nice pistol Blackice. I stared at one pretty hard one day but, the price tag ran me off. Let us know how she shoots.
