50 more flawless rounds from 7 yards the Baer, but my accuracy was lacking. I've seen people
say to expect lots of malfunctions with a new Baer because they are so tight, but the first 100
rounds with mine have been perfect. Baer recommends a 500 round break in before contacting
them about failure to feeds or other such issues, but I'm really not anticipating any problems now.
This pistol is a real joy to shoot and is definitely a step up from my Dan Wessons.

I own, or have owned, 1911’s from Colt, Kimber, Springfield Armory, Wilson, Ed Brown, Nighthawk, Para Ordnance, and a couple of more.

My Les Baer has the tightest lock-up of any I’ve owned. I love the look the first time someone goes to rack the slide.

Tight is an understatement! I let my Sons check out the Baer today and I videotaped it so I can replay it
and get some good laughs. They both had some great reactions, like "Is this really necessary?" and
"Is it broken?" and "are they known for being this ridiculous?" and "wow, definitely tight" 😂 🤣

50 more rounds freestanding from 8 yards today for 200 flawless total rounds fired.
She's still tighter than a bank vault, but she just keeps getting better and smoother.
This Premier II with 1.5" Guarantee was $2,466 (Brand New) and I think she's worth every penny.
