Bought a used p11 for 175. Have put about 150 rounds through it no issues. Need to work on trigger pull as I'm shooting low right. So far I'm pretty impressed with this gun. Bought a houge grip, 15rd mag and pinky extension for 10rd. Plan on getting a hc slide in future. Here's targets from today. Some of my girlfriends on number 2, her first time, all from about 15YDS.

I have shot my Kel Tec P11 more than any of my other guns if I am not mistaken. I shoot low right myself but if you google that you will see alot of reviews on that. Just think it is bc of the trigger pull. At one point it was all I was used too until i started venturing out more.

I traded my PF9 and now have the P11. I like the P11 but need to get the pinky extensions because the mag hurts my finger when shooting it. I'd much prefer the PF9.

Went and ran fifty rounds through the above pistol this morning...she took it like a champ! Really hit a home run after shooting when I stopped at Wal Mart. Scored 100 rounds of Federal ball for twenty-six dollars.:smt033

I have owned 3) P-11's over the years. 1 each in blued, Parkerized, and Hard Chrome. All 3 were 100% reliable after a few hundred rounds and polishing the feed ramp. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one in HC if I could find a decent deal.

I would like to get one with the Parkerized slide and OD green grips. I saw one once and fell in love with the look.

I've had mine a few weeks now, shoots a bit low-right as well. I'm pleased with it so far :)
I wonder if this is due to the long trigger pull? Mine did this too and I played with various techniques in how I gripped the P-11. Just takes a while to figure out. It is a great little pistol!

Am going to buy another one tomorrow morning. This one I will leave for my wife to use at home. She does pretty well with the P-11 I have already, despite the long 9 pound trigger pull. Just takes a little getting used to. :smt033

trigger job for P11

I got a hernia by shooting a p11
I had a P11 and carried it for a long time because it was so easy to conceal. If only someone knew how to make the trigger with a lot less travel and make it about 5 lbs. You would have to add a thumb safety if this was done. I believe if this could happen, it would end up being a very popular carry gun. It's the only Keltec that I never had to send back beside my PM30. I would be willing to pay up to $150 if this could be done. I took into consideration the price point of the gun. My son is a good all around gunsmith who specializes in trigger jobs on many different types of pistols and rifles. I asked him once a number of years ago and I think I'll bring it up again. If he can come up with something I'll let this site know, just don't hold your breath.

I have a PF9 with the belt clip attached, but also a SCCY (P11 clone). Both are excellent shooters, but my blued PF9 slide looks crappy from wear and corrosion. My stainless SCCY still looks brand new and my wife seems to enjoy shooting it too.

My first hg purchase was a P11. Paid too much for it, but was a total greenhorn and the gun show dealer saw me coming. Still, can't complain. Over 400 rounds w/o any problems. The serial # is AXE**. It's blue/OD green. I don't know what year it was made. Maybe someone who knows their system would be able to say. 2 field strip cleanings and a F&B. My wife carries it. She picked out a POS Intratec Protec .25 at the same GS and it was trouble from day one. We unloaded it and I purchased a Sterling Arms 300 .25 auto from a local on armslist. Researched it relentlessly. Once bitten... Turns out it was made from all machined steel in Gasport, NY from '72-'76. When a new owner bought the company he moved it to Lockport and the quality suffered. Cast instead of machined, stamped instead of cut, pot metal instead of tempered steel, etc.

All in all we're very happy w/our CCWs. With respect to the perceived anemia in the .25 acp it's offset by the fact I can unload a full mag within a 6" circle w/my off-hand from 7 yrds. It was supposed to be an inexpensive fix until I got a .380, but I like it so much I may not upgrade. My wife is completely content with her P11 as well. She's ex-military and carries an extra mag. When I asked her why she snapped, "What if 11 rounds isn't enough?" lol There's not arguing w/that kind of logic.
