Kadet Kit II a slippery little devil!

I mounted my Kadet Kit II on my P-01 Omega frame and it's very accurate. The down side is that the cut's on the small slide are very hard to grasp. Would anyone know of an assist device? I have fairly large hands and gripping that small slide is a pain. Thanks for any information!
