A friend sent me a picture of a handgun we are trying to identify.

See here:

It is identified as a 7.65 mm Model 1915, and is stamped "'Goliath' Patent". The barrel and slide are stamped with the identical very low serial number. There do not appear to be any other identifying marks on this weapon.

Any help identifying it would be appreciated.

Steve M1911A1 is offline, but I believe he can solve your case, I believe he knows these type of pistols very well. He's Sherlock and I'm his assistant Watson.
