Well now!
Being a VP9 owner my interest is certainly pegging my “wanna hold one O’Meter”.
I’ve never held a more comfortable, reliable, well built and good shooting semiautomatic handgun.
I’m curious what exactly they meant by “taking custOmer measurements” though. Perhaps that would be for tailored orders to business customers.
I like that it will have a paddle magazine release version too. They say for the most part it’s a miniature VP only I don’t see the one thing that made me choose (with no regrets) the VP9 over a competitor and that is the front grip has no finger recess’s.The VP9 was perfect for my hand. As a rule if it feels good to you it’s probably gonna shoot good for you.
My current subcompact is a M&P sheild 9 Performance Center (ported). At first I didn’t know if I would get used to the straight front grip (the VP9 spoiled me) But my father handed me a Ruger or hogue rubber sleeve grip thing that solved the problem. The port definitely reduced the advertised flip by 20%. Still the felt recoil had a lot more snap than the VP9 and that is certainly to be expected in a subcompact. Its a good shooter and my EDC.
Looking at the SFP9CC front grip and the intended grip texture, I wouldn’t know how much bother it would be to slip a rubber grip over it.
I wanna hold one….bad! 😉
Thanks for the heads up Shipwreck 👍
