For those of you that own, or have handled (or have experience) with both of these firearms, which do you prefer? And why? I am a rifle and shotgun guy but am looking into getting my first handgun and these are the two I have been considering. I mainly want to use the pistol for target shooting but I also want the option to use it for home defense if needed. I know both have a solid track record but I’ve yet to use or try out either one of them (looking to try them both out soon)

(first post, if I posted this in the wrong section please let me know)

They are both very nice guns. The legion is my preference but I had to learn to lower my thumb a little to get it to stay open upon empty mag. I don't have this problem with the model 75. (Shadow). I like how easy it is to find parts and upgrades for the sig. I have a 226 tacops that came with 4 20 rd mags from factory and srt.
I'm more accurate with both of these than I am with the Beretta 92 or a 1911. These are both very good choices for a steel frame pistol. You should get both but the sig 1st
