Crime at a young age.

Overall though the vast majority of kids are good. It's just the few bad one's that make the news. Especially when it comes to guns. Those bad kids are being used to advance their anti gun agenda. Of course their parents and in many cases "parent" are responsible for how their kids are brought up. One of my friends whose father was an alcoholic once told me: "Whatever happens I don't EVER want to be like my old man".

On the other hand one of my cousins grew up to emulate his "old man" (my uncle) who was an alcoholic cop. Another one of my cousins became a drug addict and only made it into his early 30's. My aunt and uncle were good loving parents, neither one of them smoked, drank or fought. His brother turned out to be just the opposite. Got married, got a good job, home and raised a family. So what went wrong? Some kids are just born the way they are.

Myself I had a great family life with two loving parents. Although I have to admit raised a little hell as a teenager. Teenage drinking parties, participating in drunken brawls, f'd off in school etc. Right out of high school I got a steady job, started dating and marrying the love of my life and bought a home. Partying with my friends became a thing of the past. Some people just don't know when it's time to stop?
