It fits on the belt horizontally instead of up and down.
If so- did you have any issues with it???

I have a horizontal. Not like that one, it has a flap and is a single. I like it, but it takes more real estate on my belt than I really want to spend at times. Nothing to really say bad about it other than the preference noted.

When I was working, I used the typical vertical side-by-side magazine pouches. But, I obtained some small springs and placed them in the mag pouches under the magazines.

When I released a mag pouch flap, the magazine popped up enough so that it was easy to grab. It made quite an improvement.

This is what I use when I worked as an armed guard. The way they're set up you can wear them vertically or horizontally. If you wanted to you could even wear them so the magazines faced upside down. I don't know why you would do that but you could.

They fit right between my belt loops just like the single magazine holder in my other photo did. They also have adjustable retention so you don't have to worry about the magazine falling out and you don't have to worry about Ioosening a flap to get to your magazines.

I was very surprised that even when I wore them horizontally just to the right of my belt buckle they didn't press into my gut or my leg when seated and they didn't interfere with my body armor.

Somebody already said it but if you have them on your strong side with the cartridges facing up it makes your reload very fast. These cost about $20 less than the Galco version.

OK, I gotta ask, it has been mentioned twice now, and depending on the orientation, it does make some sense. Tony may be left handed and that makes more sense,,,,,,,,,
Why on earth would you wear mags on your strong side? Switching hands with the fire arm while making a reload just don't make sense to me.
Everyone has a preference.

Okay I'm right-handed. Obviously especially at work and on duty belt I carry my gun on the right hip. My left hand is free. My magazines are as shown in the photo from my first post.

So when I go to reload my gun is in my right hand I bring it up at a 45° angle in front of my chest hit the magazine release and my magazine falls out. My reload is already in my LEFT hand and it's already orientated properly to go right into the magazine well.

We does what we does, but you will never convince me that a cross body retrieval of a magazine is a good thing. Too many things can go wrong and too many positions can compromise that action.
That is what you are saying, correct?
Not for me, but if you like it, that is hard to argue.

There was a typo in my first post. I remove the magazine from the magazine holder with my LEFT hand the gun is in my right hand

Having my magazines right in front of my body means that if I have to I can reach them with either hand. Having them on either side means I can't.

It works for me and I'm going to continue to do it

I see that, but it didn't seem that was what you were saying. 10-11 O'clock works well and can be had with either hand. 1-2 O'clock works too but is still a cross body access.
Oh well.
