Just saw a link on the Ruger Forum to this one. Looked at it and here I am. I have all kinds of guns, but since I favor handguns sounds like I will like this Forum. I also have a CCW permit. Looking forward to posting and reading and learning about Members. :-D

Hey there P97. We moved to Colorado from Oklahoma ten years ago. Grove to be exact. That's on Grand Lake of the Cherokees in the NE corner of the State. Ever hear of it?
I grew up there mostly. Went to a three room school in Wyandotte called TurkeyFord. It had 9 grades in it. Rode my horse to school, wore a sheath knife every day, and on Fridays, if I was going home with a friend for the weekend, I'd take my rifle... Them were the good old days...

Know the area that you are from. I live about 5 miles from where I was Born and Reared. Went to the 8th grade in a 2 room schoolhouse without plumbing or heating except for coal stove. Walked 2 miles each way to school each day. Still own my old home place where I was born. I live at Panama, which is close to Poteau. Think we must be close to the same age, since we grew up in the same era.

I grew up about 3 hours south (maybe SSW) of you, P97. (On the BETTER side of the Red River!!) :-D
