So I have a rifle in 5.56 and a handgun in 9mm.
Ive been seeing the prices for both types of ammo flex on the price side.
Im just wondering whats a good price to buying both types at. Been seeing about .40 cents per round recently.

I buy my target 9mm ammo from an online supplier. Last time it was just under 20 cents a round.

in 9mm I'm looking for target(FMJ) and then some HP.

in 5.56 Im mainly looking for FMJ for my AR15. Would like to get a few hundred rounds of the green tip stuff(cant find any)

Any ideas of what per round would be for my needs in the above line?

I haven't found anything cheaper than the Aluminum Federal at Walmart. It's .20 cents for 9mm.

+1 for Freedom Munitions. Before I started loading my own, that's where I got my ammo. Shot thousands of their remanufactured 9mm. Never a problem.

For AR's, go with Gunbot. I usually only buy PMC Bronze. But the Wolf Brass, Federal AE and Armscor also seems to get decent comments on the internet. My rifle likes the PMC better. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot the Freedom ammo here either.
