    Anything gun-related in Galveston?

    Headed to Galveston soon for a business trip. Been there before, but not much to do except the beach and a few minor tourist things...

    Any gun ranges or gunstores there?

    dont really know about galveston but theres one desent range closer to houston.

    Yea, I know there are a lot of ranges in the Houston area. But, gas is so expensive, and it's a rather long drive back to the Houston area from there.

    Hmm, don't know of any ranges but Shrimp n Stuff is a good local restaurant on 39th and O, if you like fried seafood! Then there is Leo's Cajun Cooking on Broadway and I think 33rd. No place to sit, take out only but worth the stop and Kings candy & Ice Cream shop close to the railroad museum which is also fun. It you are there over a weekend you might head out to San Luis pass, turn left just before the bridge and hook up with the Kite buggiers... might even get a ride or free lessons.
