Hi fellow Texans! I have recently joined this Forum and have already benefited from doing so. I plan on getting my CHL and have researched sub compacts which seems to be a great choice for many reasons. That said, I have narrow it down, at least for the moment as I want them all:), the S&M M&P 9mm or the Glock 26. The S&M seems to be a better value (about $100 difference in price), anyone out there have an informed opinion on this one? Thanks in advance for your consideration.
What's a S & M ?
I have the S&W M&P 9 full size, M&P9c also. I did own the Glock G26, I have to say I do like the M&P both full and compact better. The Glock 26 was just to small for my hand.
The Glock is a fine weapon, but i do like the S&W M&P much better.
I have 3 M&Ps. 2 Glocks. The Glocks are 19&36
I like the M&P better in my hand and for carry. But they are both great guns. I say, try them both (& any of the others people are about to chime in with) and get the one that fits YOU best.

The M&Pc for the money is a great value but haven't been around as long and some of the local LEOs say they rust faster then the glocks...
