According to the Beaumont Police Department no charges are expected against a homeowner who shot two teenagers who invaded his home on Tuesday. The homeowner shot the two teenagers who did not suffer life-threating injuries. Beaumont Police responeded to reports of gunfire late Tuesday night, after arriving the police found a 17 year old and 19 year old had been shot. Both teenagers were armed according to the police.

with only a .25acp he's lucky things turned out as well as they did, especially w/ both of them being armed.
Once shot, especially committing a crime, bad guys seem to subdue and give up.
most people, teens especially, are going to dive headfirst into shock once fired upon and hit. even if it's something small, and the injury isn't specifically life threatening, they won't know that, they most likely think their life is about to flash before their eyes and it will soon come to an end. it certainly should be enough to rid their mind's of obtaining worldly possessions that aren't theirs.
Glad he made it out ok. I hope the punks get 20 years in Huntsville.
