XD9 vs Glock 19

I currently own and enjoy shooting a Bersa 380. I want to get a 9mm so I have been shooting a variety of guns. I have currently narrowed it down to either a Glock 19 or an XD9. I am the most accurate with the XD, but the Glock is easier for me to rack the slide and I like the weight better. The other issue with the Glock is that some of the shells eject toward me usually hitting me on my head. I am wondering if it does this because it has more recoil for me than the XD. Any opinions? I have been warned that the XD has rust issues.

The best advise I can give you is buy the one that feels the best to you and don't worry about what everybody says. They are both good guns and both should give you good service for a long time. They probably forgot to tell you the guy fell out of a boat and didn't clean his gun for two weeks. :smt102They'll rust every time. Good luck.:smt1099

Thank you Baldy. I will probably shoot both of them one more time before I make my purchase, but currently I am leaning toward the XD.

Well, she does like to fish out of our Kayak a lot.

So far, she has resisted the urge to just shoot the fish, but you never know ...
