Hi there,

Just saw your website at the last ARB postcad and decided to take a look. Your forum looks awesome! ;)

As you know, in Spain handguns are very restricted and most of people can't get one to protect their houses. The law is stupid too and if we shoot (even punch the guy) the one who goes to the jail is YOU. :smt076

I like WWII era stuff and Berettas (I'm half italian, too) and I wish that someday I'll be able to work at USA as M.D. (I'll begin these studies soon) and maybe fire some nice arms.

There are some states here that are almost the same way.

Hi Brusini. Are you one of those able to own a gun and if yes or no, can you go to a shooting facility and use one? Fill us in a little about things in your part of the world. And welcome. :smt1099

In Spain some people can own a handgun but they need a special license issued by "Guardia Civil" (A paramilitary police corps, like Carabinieri in Italy) to buy and own them. This license is pretty hard to get and you have to state the reasons you want the handgun for. It costs about $2400 to get one.

However, there are shooting facilities, most of them used as practice ranges for hunters. The most common weapon here is the pellet airgun, for rabbit hunting (Canary Islands) and bird hunting (Continental Spain), but there are also hunting rifles.

The problem is that it's very very difficult to be allowed to own anything bigger than a handgun if you aren't a hunter.
