Need Help

I went to the gun store last week and bought some bullets.

I tried to put the bullets in a clip for my handgun, but they kept falling out.

I finally got the bullets in the clip, but I had trouble makeing the clip go in my gun.

I finally just shoved the bullets in my handgun and went to the range.

I checked my stance, and my grip on the gun.

I shot at the target, but nothing happened.

I even put my index finger on the trigger all the way up to the second joint to make sure I had enough leverage.

Still, nothing happened when I jerked the trigger.

What's wrong with this picture?

That's funny stuff. I just had a discussion about "jargon" recently with family. While most would understand what you meant, technically, cartridges are inserted in a magazine (bullets wouldn't engage a clip, and if they did, I'm not aware of any clip fed handguns.) The firing technique you described is another story...

You'd probably tolerate this from someone educated about firearms from the movies, but among shooters, very bad form... thanks for the laugh.
