New guy here, and I look forward to gaining some valuable knowledge to fuel my ever growing interest in handguns.
I'm still a rookie though, so please bare with me if some of my questions/comments seem a little shallow.
I'm about to make my first purchase of a handgun but I'm on a tight budget (about $500), so I was hoping for some advice.
I'm looking for a 9mm semi-auto that'll be great for the range and for concealed carry. I don't care for a heavy trigger pull (I fired a Glock 17, for example, that I felt had too heavy a trigger pull). The gun I most enjoyed shooting was a Sig 228. I loved everything about it, but of course I can't afford a Sig right now.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Welcome from down in the swamp. Have you tried the Springfield XD 9MM yet? Give it a test drive and see what you think. About $460 to $520 in these parts.
Welcome to the forum, glad you're here! New guy buys cigars. :smt033
I haven't fired the XD 9 yet but I will give it a shot (lol) - thanks!
