Happened to see an Accu-Tek/Excel Industries, Inc in .380, sort of a PPK clone. What's the story on them? Any good?
To answer my own question.... I did some Googling and the only references were not good ones - they get mentioned in crime reports in situations where you would find a Jennings or Hi-Point. The only comments I saw directed to the quality of the gun are extremely dismissive. One report said that you had to replace the wood grip panels every 200 rounds, because a mechanism inside the grip would wear against the wood. Egad.
Nice to note that they are apparently American-made. In California. Where they are not legal. Geeze. What a mess.
After reading up on this pygmy-nightmare, I feel like I need to wash my eyeballs.

I think that you meant Hi-Point, not Hi-Power.

I had never heard of them. I got an old Jennings in the cubboard somewhere and I have seen a lot of Hi-Points. Anybody want to buy a Jennings .380 just say so. Frist $1,000 takes it.
