I've been looking for a gun strictly for conceal. This caught my eye because of it's size and caliber. Does anyone have any input on this gun? It looks like a good gun for conceal carry.

Para Ordinance Warthog
The doublestack .45's are really fat in the grip, hard to hide under anything but a winter coat. Para does make the slim hawg single stack, and there are others(kimber ultras,SA micros etc etc.)
just my .02c
Para Ordinance also makes the Covert Carry LDA - 3" "light double action" single-stack .45 - mine has been quite reliable. As a concealed carry gun, it has the advantage of consistent trigger-pull every time.

I'm not too familiar with Para Ordinance, the Warthog just kinda caught my eye.. Are they reliable guns?
Both of mine have been quite reliable. BTW I don't shoot bargain or reload ammo.
I wold not agree that the only way to hide the grip on a double stack 45 is with a winter jacket. I prefer to fress around my gun than to select my gun according to my clothing (not allways an option). Buy a quality gun you like. Invest in a good gun belt and a few good holsters. By the appropriate clothing to math. Dickie work shirts, oversize t-shirts, aloha shirts all work well to conceal a gun.
I just picked one up for carry and I really like it. So far I've run about 500 rds of cheap ball ammo and 100 JHPs without a hitch.
