Bought an M&P 9c because I couldn't find a Shield. Found a Shield so now I have the 9C and the 9mm Shield. Thinking of selling the 9c and picking up a M&P 22 for fun at the range.....
Plan on the Shield being my EDC
Thoughts....

Keep both 9s and get the 22. Then your only real problem will be deciding what your 4th gun will be.
If you want to keep only 1 of the 9m/m's shoot them both a few times them keep the one you like best. (I'm with qwiksdraw though, I'd keep both and add the M&P 22)
I was in some what of the same situation as you are now. I purchased 2 M&P 9mm then was looking at the M&P .22 for practice and the range. Well I did purchase the M&P .22 but it seems that it never gets shot. Most of the time it just stays in the safe along with the 3100 rounds of ammo I have for it. I think it has maybe 300 rounds through it. The M&P .22 just does not have the same feel of any of my other guns.
Thats not a bad idea.
Tho I think its smarter to have 2x 9mms on hand just in case one breaks
