I can't tell if you are new to just the forum or new to gun ownership, so I am going to assume the later b/c there are alot of those type "new" folks coming here. My apologies if I assume wrong. Anyway, although with a hearty welcome I am imploring newbies to get active in pro-2A advocacy quickly. Our 2A are under assault and we need every last bit of effort we can muster. Join at least one, preferably multiple, 2A advocacy groups. DO NOT blow off the entreaties you get from these groups or from your fellow gun owners to email and write your elected representatives, from federal to local. Sign petitions. Do not allow that apathetic gun owner that you know (and we all know 'em!) to sit back. Buy them a beer or something to get them to do the same as you. Try to do everything you can that can help preserve our gun rights from this dangerous assault from a re-invigorated anti-2A movement. Thank you for listening.

Hi and welcome
I am new to the forums but not so new to gun ownership. I have already sent a letter and am preparing a second,. signed all the petitions ect.. I agree that the 2A is under attack and quite frankly I can't stop thinking about it and it irks me to the core. And these forum's fuel the fire per say. All the internet buzz makes it all the worse, hard to tell whats truth and whats not. What can they do and what can't they do, what will happen and what won't.. Are they serious of moving fast and furious to pass a bill... Will it falter and the buzz die down and people come to their senses.. Who knows.. ... Brain EXPLOSION!!!
