I'm not going to say that I shouldn't join, I probably should. However, I do not see it as being a necessary part of being a gun owner. Thats built into the constitution...
I fully support the NRA, just as a college kid, paying their membership doesn't work for me right now, eventually I see myself becoming a part of it.
I'm not a member, but I do plan to become one at some point in time.
