I am looking to purchase my first pistol. Looking for good suggestions. I know I want something with bigger then a 9mm. I will use it when I bow hunt for protection against bear/cats as well as personal protection as I am about to enroll for Concealed Weapons class. Just seeing what people have and what they think? Thanks
You'll need 2 firearms...........one for bear/cats, and one for conceal carry................pretty hard to find one that will accomplish both situations.
For the bear/cats I would take my 44 Magnum (S&W Model 629 4"barel)........... For concealed carry I have a Ruger SP101 .357 Magnum with 3"inch barel.
