Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm

Thinking about purchasing my first sub compact and after doing so research am gravitating between the Glock 26 and the S&W M&P 9mm. From what I can tell, pound for pound, it appears one gets a better deal out of the S&W but since we are aonlu talking $100 give or take, wanted to see what you all though.

The M&P 9mm is quite a bit larger than the Glock 26. It is about the same size as the Glock 17 so there is no real comparison between these two pistols... they are in a different category.
