Sig Pro v Double Star

Hey everyone. New to the site and read some great stuff on here so thanks in advance for your comments and all the previous posts.

My question is..... I'm debating on getting a Sig SP2022, but just got a great deal on Double Star 1911. Only $800. I've already purchased the Sig for $349.99 new so all I'd have to do is cancel and pay $450 more and I can get the Double Star 1911. It is used thought with about 400 rounds fired. Wondering what you all think about it. (price, conceal carry, ammo price, overall quality). Again, thanks in advance!

Stick with the SIG and get a higher quality 1911 later....JJ

We have 6 Sig Pro 2022 in my extended family.

All have been excellent guns.

We've put a lot of rounds through them w/o any problems at all.

I'd stick with the sig as well.
Of course I'm also not a huge 1911 fan.

Stay with the Sig. I have the SP2022 in .40, its accurate and reliable. I carry it loaded with Federal HST 180g, 2 extra mags and SIG Pro tacky rubber large grip. You cant go wrong.

I love my Sig Pro 2022. Unfortunately, so does my wife. It's now her nightstand gun.

It's accurate, reliable, great sight picture, smooth trigger and sweet Sig night sights.

Keep the Sig. Save up for a Ruger SR1911.
