Gun show tomorrow and SUnday at the George Brown Convention Center - entrance fee is $7. It's next to the Minute Maid statium - I've only been to the Reliant Shows, so this will be my first time there - I'll be there at 9am sharp.
Just thought I'd tell anyone in the area if they didn't already know...
I was there Sunday and it was a pretty good show, especially since I also could go next door to the Texas Trophy Hunters Hunters Extravaganza without having to get into the car and travel. I saw some good deals in the gun show and even bought a new holster and gunbelt made by Don Hume for OWB carry of my 3" SP-101.
I saw the new Smith & Wesson emergency kit including a .500S&W revolver with orange hogue grip, firestarter, compass, emergency blankets and I think a signal mirror in a bright orange hardcase all for a little over a grand....
I also saw some nice used revolver deals, listened to a woman that thought she was the know it all for handgun grips....I proved her wrong!!!
I, for one really enjoyed the show but am looking forward to the big Reliant show in September.
It was ok. I prefer the Reliant shows. I bought a Keltec 32 there while at the show. Main reason I went. I think I'll stick w/ the Reliant shows, however. They are a bit bigger. They (Reliant) used to do it quarterly, but now they only hold them 3x a year.
Anyway - I had a nice time.
