I was at my barber a few weeks ago and was talking to him about my gun collection and that I had just picked up a new Glock 17. He asked me if I had any that I wanted to sell. I thought about it and I told him i would let him know in a couple of days. That next Tuesday I stopped by and told him I had a couple that I was willing to part with, My Hi-Point C9 and a LLama 45. I told him that I would sell both for $400. He said he is interested. I asked him if he had the handgun safety card to purchase a gun? NO of course. I told him to go to the local shop and take the test and to get the xcard befor eI could do any buisness of this nature with him. I gave hime my number and told him that when he goes to take it I woukd meet him there and we would do the deal, bring the money in cash. The next day he called and I met him at the GS and he was in the middle of taking the test. When he finished one of the guys was grading while the other guy was looking at the guns. The guy came back and he had failed. DAMN!
He could retake the test in 24 hrs with no extra charge. The nextday he called me again and he had passed so I went over there again. He gave me the money and we began the DROS. It was wierd because he never asked to shoot them or even handle them for some reason, not my problem, I wanted to get rid of the guns so I could put some cash away for the next one. I had my eye on a Colt 1911. The 10 days past, not a word. Great. 15 days came around and I get a call from him telling me the he went to the shop to pick up the guns and no one was there. I told him I did not care. An hour later he calls again and leaves a messege, same thing. He did this about 9 times. I was getting irritated. I did not call him back and figured he would get the point, NOT MY PROBLEM. He called again this morning and without looking at the phone I picked it up and low and behold its him. He said they were still closed and asked me to meet him at the store so he could get the guns. I said I do not have to be there for that. He asked, then how am I going to pick them up? I said Its not my f'n problem, Give the guy your recite and show your ID and that is it. He calle dme back an hour later. "the store is still closed, can you call them". I told him that "ITS NOT MY F"N PROBLEM". You call them. He asked me for the number. I said what in the hell is wrong with you phone or your phone book? You call them and stop calling me. ITS NOT MY PROBLEM. they are your stupiod gun you deal with it. I then hung up the phone and blocked the number.
Moral of the story is don't sell guns to someone you know, esspecially your barber. If they don't have the common sence of a toad just say no. Now I am so bidazzled here that I need to find a barbe that know the difference between his a$$ and a hole in the ground.
Just a rant.
