Man it's been hard not being able to get online. Took a week to get to Tyler Texas and staying with the Mother-in-law as we look for a house to buy. No internet so gave up and got highspeed hooked up a her house for two months so I could get back on this forum. Went to three gun dealers today and they had nothing. Anyone know of any good shops with a big inventory in NE Texas?

There will be a gun show in Longview Aug. 5th & 6th. If you are looking to buy, that would be a good place to look. I've never been to the Longview show but I just bought a S & W MP40 at the Denton show for $409.95 from the AJC Sports Shop booth. They had the best prices. I don't know if they will be at the Longview show or not. They are out of Clute, Tx & their phone # is 979 265-GUNS if you want to check. Their prices were the best at the show. Academy, for example, is asking $499.00 for the same gun.

I agree with TxPhantom that AJC Sports has good prices, especially on new guns. They are at the Austin shows and the San Antonio shows and consistently have the best prices. The few dealings I've had with them have been very good. Nice folks.
How far is that from Dallas? Maybe you can take a drive to Dallas.

After Katrina last year the dealears in north and east Texas could not keep certain guns in stock for some months. The regular shops I deal with have only in recent weeks began to have a stock worth looking at again. Your are only about 1 1/2 -2 hrs away from DFW come up here and make a day of it there are lots of good firearm dealers up here.
Plan on going to the Longview show this weekend and the next weekend Tyler will have one. Thanks for your imput. When I need a certain gun I will head to Dallas.
