To buy or not to buy, trade or not to trade?

OK..this is the situation...I own a S&W Walther PPK/S but I likes the looks of the Sig P238. now I know they're both 380's. but the P938 won't be available till at least July or August, and I have the money now. So do I buy the 238 now
And if so should I trade the PPK/S in.
Other guns owned..Sig 1911, Sig 239(40cal), S&W air weight 38, Browning Barkmark, NAA Pug(22mag).

Buy whatever you want, it's your money. If you do want to get the Sig938, I would wait for reviews to come out determining its reliability and shootability. I would assume this is for a CCW. Make sure you are gonna get something that is gonna work before you buy it.

Never buy the first run,for anything.Wait n see.

I thought the same thing..first runs are always rough. Yes it is for CCW....what about the trade factor?

You will always lose money on a trade to a gun shop, always. If you want to move the Walther, do so via direct sale (in accordance to all state & federal laws of course) or see if your local shop will do a consignment sale.

i buy/sell/trade a lot on backpage, price it right & it'll be gone in 6 hours & you're much better off $$$wise than trading with a lgs.

i should be picking up a ppq/9 this week & looking forward to it, not sure if it'll replace the g30 for ccw.

as has been said, let the 938 prove itself before relying on it for sd/hd.
