While my ipad has a timer app on it I'm looking for one that works like a timer for event - it needs to sound off when it starts.

Go to the App Store and search for "Shot Timer" by Innovative Applications
Free Shot Timer (used to be taurus timer?) showed up too. Both are free so I grabbed them.
Now to see what they do and how they do it...microphone on an ipod? I think the earbuds do that, don't they?
Ah...don't know...I have a 4th gen Ipod Touch which has a built in mic.
