Well, took the Kimber to the range twice this week. Our indoor range would not let me shoot High Velocity ammo as the manual recommends. I ended up having to buy some Armscor Precision .22 LR Standard velocity 40 grains. I had FTF's, FTE's, FTL. I was thinking "Oh great, this is a piece of crap. An expensive POC at that".
We went back to the range this weekend and shot Federal's in the 525 pack and that was much better but not entirely satisfactory. I also bought Remington Cyclone High velocity and bingo! Ended up shooting a couple hundred rounds of that and had just a couple of FTF. Tried shooting those same rounds in my son's Neos and found they were plain ole duds.
