Need help with new ccw decision

OK, I know its a redundant thread, but I have to make a decision tomorrow or soon therafter...I need a good concealed carry gun, probably in 9mm because thats what I already have, and have a few guns I like...my private parts are telling me to go with the PX4 subcompact, which to me looks like a great gun....I love the looks, the feel, the impression of quality, etc.....I like the way it fits in my hand and everything about it but have not shot it yet.....My second choice is the glock 26, also a nice gun, but for different reasons....obviously glocks are as relable as anything, and I also like the looks, but its very simple and looks like its from K mart next to the Beretta.....running in 3rd is the XDM sub compact....I hear good things but its a chunky gun for a sub compact....I like the fact its from Mass and the shit it comes with.....anyways, if ya have any opinions let me know....

On the Springfield, it's just the SC, they don't make a "M" in sub-compact. Also, Springfield Armory is out of Illinois, not Massachusetts (if you want a gun from MA, look at the Smith & Wesson M&P line) and the gun is technically made in Croatia. Don't get hung up on the XD gear. As the former owner of two XD's, I can say first-hand that the gun is good, but the gear is cheap plastic crap. They'd better serve their customers by giving extra mags instead. Choose a gun for the gun, not the extras.

Shoot all 3 and buy the one you like/shoot the best.

ditto on the crap part. complete garbage.

My personal favorite is the Glock, however all three are quality guns. I shoot the Glock and the Beretta pretty well, but the XD does not fit my hand comfortably so I don't do quite as well with it as the other two. As for the holster and gear that comes with the XD, don't use them as a decision maker. They are a nice additional feature, but they are not very high quality. If you are planning on carrying concealed on a regular basis, you will NEED a good holster. The holster is almost as important of a decision as the proper gun. Don't be afraid to spend some money on good quality leather or kydex. A good holster will run you somewhere North of $50.00 and probably closer to $70 or more. My personal favorites are Blade Tech for Kydex, and Kramer for leather. Good luck with your decision.

Well, I actually ended up with a Sig.....got a mint sig Pro sp2009, with 3 mags, night sites, and some other stuff for a great price....was looking at those other guns and saw the sig, price was too good to pass up....gonna go to the range first thing tomorrow, shouldf be fun...

I know you are pro Sig (pun intended), but it appears that the little purple guys in your post are not. Every time the Sig Sauer sign comes out, the little purple people moon it.

first range trip was great....went through 200+ rounds in less than an hour, the gun worked smooth and had no issues.....right away I shot tighter groups than Ive ever had with my S&W, the gun fits better, and best thing of all when I got done shooting my gun looked like it had hardly been used.....not used to that, but anyways, its a bit big for concealed but damn I love the thing.....it feels like it was made for my hand and shoots so damn nice.....I think I will now start saving for a p238 for my carry gun....much smaller and oh so nice...
