So I'll be quick a to the point.
I'm new. I'm interested in purchasing my first handgun and I'm here for advice on that, and to talk about handguns in general.

You didn't say what you want a gun for - are you gonna conceal carry or does self defense mean defense at at home to you?
This question will have a lot to do with the answers you get.

I'm also newhere on the forum I' m now living in NC and cannot wait to get back up in God's Country.
Spent 60 yrs up there mostly hunting & fishing. Moved down here for employment and I just got my CCW transferred from MI to NC.
They do it a little different down here but not to bad.
I'm a 45 ACP affectionado and have owned a bunch of them. I also had a gunshop in Oceana County up there in MI but sold out about 15 yrs ago & I miss that.
Been trying to figure out how to get around on the forum but I got my GPS all set up ad running.
Us Yankees need all of the help we can get. I'm told that everyday at work. LOL
