Hi from CA
Hi, I live in SO CA which has some of the most restrictive handgun laws in the USA. Even with that, we have some fine firearms here and I am happy to see a forum that is just for handguns. HKs and Walthers are my passion, the older versions steel construction, although I do have a few polymer ones.

Welcome to the forum. My only Walther is a polymer one, a P22. I love it and can afford to fire it often. My other handguns are both blue steel, a S&W Highway Patrolman (357 Magnum) and a Sig P230 (380 ACP). The 357 is too expensive to fire a whole lot, I usually fire 15-20 rounds of 38 Special and 4-6 rounds of magnum through it. The Sig is expensive to fire too, but the main reason I don't rangefire it more is the scarcity of ammo. Good luck.
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor
determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better
for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an
unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

by criminologist Cesare Beccaria, 1764
A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity.
