I found a buyer for my Hi Point 9c. I have done quite a bit of talking at work with this guy about the problems I have had with it and even showed him a picture of my keyholed target. He knows everything I know about this gun and still offered $130 for it. Of course, I accepted. I'm throwing in a couple boxes of ammo and the extra mags I bought for it. Would anyone else feel guilty under these circumstances or is it just a reminder that the best buyer is an uneducated one?
You are doing the right thing by telling him all of the problems. I wouldn't feel guilty at all. Besides, he knows hes buying a High Point so that prety much covers any disclosures.:smt082
It sounds like you honest with him I would not feel bad about the sale.A high point may be what the guy wants.
So what problems were you having?
You do know they are warranted for life don't you?
FTF, FTE, keyholing (tried the ammo in a different gun with no problems). They may be warranted for life but the overall feel of the gun in my hand is the main selling point. Also, I have more problems re acquiring the sight picture with it than I do with my PT145. The slide coming forward on this thing has almost as much force as the recoil. I think I'd be better off throwing the Hi Point at an intruder (unloaded of course) than actually using it.Quote:

But, being that you were honest about it, don't feel bad.
he knowws what he is getting, i could go 2 ways either he knows it is guarunteed for life and highpoint will give him a free mag if he sends in a warranty claim or hes got sumn on his record that wint allow him to get a gun at a store considering thathe is paying 130 and the shops around here sell those between 100 -150 all day, i wouldnt worry about it you were straight up with him
