Ran a double charged case through my XD and she blew
I'm an avid reloader, but just like everybody else I make mistakes. To make a long story short I was making up some 40 S&W loads in my Dillon 550b and I must have gotten side tracked. I pulled the handle twice and threw a double charge. Not realizing this I shot that round at the range and I knew it really kwik. I felt powder burn on my face (luckily I was wearing eye protection) and the round indicator flew off the gun as well as the extractor. what a rush! I sent the gun to Springfield and they brought it back to new! What service. Moral of the story? Be careful and pay attention to your loads. :buttkick:
