my first NEW handgun

Well I bought my first gun about 3 weeks ago.. and I put my 2nd gun on lay away today
I recently put a bunch of crap I don't use on ebay and I'm hoping that will fund the purchase of my new gun
My first gun is a sig sauer p220 .45 older model refurbished from sig sauer
The second hand gun I'm goin to purchase is a sig sauer p229 9mm two tone with silver slide
The reasoning behind me buying a new gun so fast is.. A .. I'm hooked B. I need a smaller gun for carry once my carry permit comes in (which probably wont be for a while seeing everyone and their mother is sending for them) and C. I have a .45 and now I want a little variety so I bought a 9mm also its two toned

it was 890.00 after they took 100 off, and I paid 90 down towards the gun for layaway (cause I don't want anyone elses dirty paws on it...

I'm pretty excited also because its my first NEW! gun

I think I can safely say that everyone on this forum wants pics ASAP! Congrats on the new purchases!

Great choice! I bought mine 8 days ago and I need to wait 2 more days to pick it up. CA thing! I bought a p220st and can't wait to fire 200 rounds in couple days!:smt071

As Todd will attest...good choice in handguns. Don't forget to take some of that ebay money and sign up for an NRA handgun course. You won't be disappointed and you'll be much more confident and safer. Congrats again...Where's the pics?:smt023

They make you wait 10 days in california to get it? Over here in Florida they make us wait 3 days if you don't have a carry permit already... Did you buy a p229 or p220 ? if you got the 229 did you get a two tone?

I'll post the pics as soon as the gun is in my possession... as far as my p220 its in the sig sauer photo section
I'll definately one day look into the handgun course... I've been thinking about doing something like that

Thanks, I am hooked to say the very least, lol I never leave my home without my gun.. I don't think I would feel right if I did :)
