Before Going to the Range

I would like to go to a rental range, before I buy my own firearm. In New Jersey, what do I need before I can legally shoot at the range?

If you go to Shore Shot in Lakewood all you need is a drivers license and money for the rental and ammo. That is the only range that i know of in Jersey that rents guns. Hope this helps.

What about if I go to a normal range and wanted to use my Uncle's firearms?
