First gun paid in full!

I purchased my first gun today. Springfield XD 4" 9mm. Just waiting for the 3 day cooling off period to go pick it up(even though I already cooled off for 2 months while waiting for my FOID, 12 months waiting for my settlement check, and another 4 months waiting for the wife's FOID:smt120).

I wanted to thank everyone on here for all of the information during the past year, and I'll post pics and a range report when I can finally take it to the range and take pictures of it!

Great persistence. I loved my 4" XD (.40 S&W). I was sad to part with it but I REALLY needed the money at the time. One of the best fitting/performing guns on the plastic fantastic market. Kudos. ;)

I definitely do not miss those days. I have a similar card nowadays that actually lets me carry a firearm in public! What a concept! :mrgreen:
