NRA gave her 100% rating. as for on other subjects i don't know. however the latest i heard (sorry no source so this may be hearsay) is that the democratic party has told her to change her stance or not be allowed to run as a democrat come re-up time.
niadhf, I did hear the same thinganout the d party trying to make her change. but then read in the paper today that she said she will not change her views on guns. she does want to stop guns from getting into criminals hands. Thanks fo rthe input.
Compared to the others who were up for the seat, she's better than we could have hoped for.
She seems like a very centrist Democrat, and while I haven't heard too much about her stance on other issues, I think she'll be good for NY and for gun owners.
And with the backing of Chuckie Schumer, she will likely have the power to stand up to Carolyn McCarthey, Bloomburg and the like come election time.

I think her record all around is pretty solid.....She is a D but she votes right along the center on most issues........ I like her for NY a lot....:smt023
