Has anyone heard that Ithaca is back in business? I had a buddy tell me that they are opening the doors again, but I cannot access the website to tell if it is true. I would love to see them make the 37 again!

I had a Ithaca double barrel 12 gauge stolen in 82, just one of those things you end up missing
It is good to see! I was able to access it this evening. Anyone considering a shotgun, take a good look at an Ithaca! :smt023
I definitely wouldnt mind an Ithaca 37. I like the ejection out the bottom. :)
...I had their 8-shot pump in satin nickel in the 70s...it was Cadillac...also a double 20 ga...I'd like to see those come back....
Anyone know when they'll be available? I've got a nice chunk of change that I'd like to swap for a new shotgun. :D
I heard from a trap-shooting friend of mine that the quality of the new Ithacas is not up to par with the older ones...she apparently wore out one of the new 20 gauges, although they replaced the parts for her. That said, she did shoot competitively at the time and put a ton of shells through it. Something about pressed parts vs. cut parts, if I remember correctly.
My dad has an Ithaca 37 in 12 gauge from back in the '60s...I have to say that's a beautiful gun, and the bottom ejection is convenient. :smt023
