Opinion on next gun???
I was stuck on the decision of my next gun.I have a Glock 21 and 36.I have a S&W-M&P 9mm and my favorite of them all the Springfield XD-45c,I love that gun by far.So anyways I am looking at a sig or H&K.The sig a .357sig or the H&K the HK45 or compact not sure.I am open to other suggestions for any handgun brand or caliber. Thanks

you don't have a .22lr!
semiauto - ruger Target
Revolver - S&W 617 10 shot

Not only does he not have a .22lr, he (or she?) doesn't have a revolver either. Get a good Colt, Ruger, or S&W revolver, and feel what it's like to have an all-steel handgun in your hand. Get something in a four or six inch barrel, and have something that is more accurate and has a better trigger than the handguns you already have.
Or just get a 1911. Like a good .22, everyone needs a 1911.....

...I've had Colt and Ruger revolvers into the magnums and loved 'em...Just got into a 9mm auto and love it too. Just have to find a nice Ruger Mark II or III to make me happier and maybe get the wife to pop a few off...

If you enjoy semi-autos in service calibers, which it seems you do, adding a Sig Sauer or Heckler und Koch would be a fine idea. Have you considered a Beretta 92FS?
If I ever have the financial ability to do so, I would like to collect 9mm service pistols i.e. Glock 17, Sig Sauer P226, Beretta 92FS, H&K USP etc.

I see .22 LR, I see 1911
How about knocking off two birds with one gun and get a 1911 plus the .22LR conversion kit?

A good quality 22 auto like a Ruger Mark II would allow you to practice more economically. That is what I would go for. A good snub nosed revolver in 38/357 would be nice. "Every gun owner needs a J-Frame." I don't remeber who said it, but it is true!

I dont like revolvers to much but a 22 sounds good.I am a .45 lover and plan on getting more but man that ammo is killing me.What about a Mosquito for a .22?Thanks for all the responses keep em coming.

In that case I think the idea of getting a 1911 pistol in .45ACP and a conversion kit to shoot .22LR with it would be a great choice. If you are a .45ACP fan, a 1911 is almost a must for any collection.
All that being said, I know several people who have the H&K USP .45 and they all love it.
